One young entrepreneur who embodies this digital mindset is international entrepreneur Murat Bazarov, founder and CEO of NUBIO Skincare.
Born in Turkmenistan, Bazarov carried the hopes and dreams of his family with him when he immigrated to the United States in 2019 to pursue his vision of becoming a tech entrepreneur. As the son of a fashion designer and a military veteran, Bazarov lived according to the values instilled in him from an early age, including an eye for aesthetic beauty and creativity, as well as the disciplined, purposeful pursuit of goals. As a child, he also cultivated a boundless curiosity and a voracious appetite for knowledge, becoming a wide reader and an avid participant in whatever educational opportunities he could find, including winning a Mathematics Olympiad in Turkmenistan and participating in Johns Hopkins University’s Summer Program.
Bazarov also cultivated his interest in technology and its limitless potential by studying coding at Northern Virginia Community College and serving as president of the college’s coding club. He experienced his first opportunity to apply his coding skills to real-life challenges by developing and implementing Focal Point, a farming software for connecting consumers with farmers. In a pilot program, NUBIO donated over 100 units of foot care products to elderly homes in underserved communities, receiving positive feedback from caretakers and residents.
Little did he know that this would lay a foundation for his eventual foray into the skincare industry. Like all good business ideas, NUBIO skincare was born out of necessity. After observing his grandmother’s struggles with foot issues, he realized that there was a lack of good personalized solutions for common foot problems such as dry skin, calluses, corns, bunions, and plantar warts. At the age of 20, he founded NUBIO to fill this important niche.
Within a month of launch, the company saw a surge in demand and garnered positive feedback from a growing customer base. Today, NUBIO’s foot spa collection for men and women includes products such as foot peel masks, salt foot soaks, moisturizing milk, and pedicure paddles. However, NUBIO’s plans did not stop there. As the brand continues to grow, Bazarov has applied his background in coding to the creation of NUBIO’s AI platform.
One of Nubio’s success stories is when a 45 year old customer suffering from chronic cracked heels for years reported a 90% improvement in skin texture within 10 days of using NUBIO’s peel mask validated by dermatological follow-up.

Even as he looks towards the future, Bazarov makes an effort not to forget the human beings behind his customer count. He learned this important lesson after witnessing the effects of his products in his own life.
