One notable challenge during a health-informatics implementation was integrating a new electronic health record (EHR) system into an existing workflow at a large healthcare facility. There are many challenges faced by many hospitals during health informatics implementation, but one notable challenge I observed during the implementation of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system at a hospital was the significant resistance from staff. This type of system mainly aims to streamline patient care and improve data accessibility and also enhances overall care.

Here, the main challenge was resistance from the staff, particularly physicians and nurses who were used to the traditional paper-based systems.
